New to this. Have the Edge, Mac OS and iOS. Is the only way to create patterns by moving the circles on the screen in real time with either the desktop or mobile app? Some of the patterns I see others have created seem too consistent to have been created that way. Am I missing something?

I think you have float and loop confused. Float will let you set to what ever level you want and will stay there when you let your finger off. Loop is where you can create patterns that will repeat (loop) until you either create a new short loop or select float or normal.

I've been using the App for 2-3 years. I had not idea, until just 1 week ago, that the "Float" feature on the control panel will continuously repear whatever pattern you create. You can create a short pattern or a long patter and it will repeat it over and over until you stop it or start a new pattern. To create a pattern you have to keep your finger on the circles and move them however you want. Once you let go, the circle automatically returns to the bottom and that means you've stopped creating the pattern and now it will start over in the loop. You can always clock off Float and control in real time.
I'm a male, 44, and I love, love, love to control. However, it was already hard for me to cum at the same time because my hands were in use. With the float feature, my hands can be free. However, some don't like the float on all the time. They like to be creatively controlled in the moment, so I use it, but sparingly.
