I just tested our toys a bit - and have a few security concerns:

Is there a possibility to change the name of the toy (from LVS-Lush, LVS-Edge, LVS-Ambi) to something innocuous? Because at the time my neighbours can see the device name, if they happen to search for bluetooth (and if there's only one or two walls inbetween).

But not only that - they then also could in theory connect to the toys - because there is no input necessary: No password or PIN, not even a button press on the device.

I know it probably won't happen, because of the low range of bluetooth, and the little prude town with law-abiding people I live in... but I don't think it is acceptable, that a stranger could be able to (accidentally, malicously, curiously) connect to our toys.

Thank you for contacting Lovense.

I understand your concerns. But when the toy is paired with your phone, it will not be discoverable by others. The only way someone else could connect to it would be if they also had our app downloaded and were using the app at the exact same time you were trying to pair the toy with your phone.

Regarding changing the toy name, this is a feature we are working on implementing but I am not sure when it will be available.
