I don't really write reviews because I get high and rambly, but here goes.
I wasn't really sold on the Quake release, but I'm easily influenced and the drooly emojis in control from the early adopters got me. Unboxing proved my initial assessment correct. Quake looks like a Lush 3 that ate Lushes 1 & 2 and earned an 'I beat anorexia' T-shirt. It's chonky. It's also super pliable which is good. I use an Edge2 in the manner that Quake is intended for, so that's my basis for comparison. Popped it in and it was super comfy. You def know it's there, but it's way less awkward than Edge 2 here.
Test drive...I diddled the remote myself, synced with a playlist, dropped some links in the control room, and played 1 on 1 with an excellent controller.
Self control with the remote - 2 sliders and was very responsive, but if I wanted to mash my own buttons, I wouldn't be here. I will say that in my opinion, the vibes aren't nearly as strong or as rough as Edge 2.
Playlist - Quake did pick up some nice beats on a heavy bassline, and was very responsive with a lot of variation. Quake has dual motors, but I found that there wasn't a lot of distinction between the 2.
Control room - I think some of the other ladies struck fear in the controllers bc mostly everyone was SUPER light-handed. Quake lows are very light and buzzy which is different - more like butterfly kisses that made me giggle. For comparison, Lush lows hit a bassline that can put me on my knees. A couple of controllers already figured out some cool party tricks - keep that shit up, it was fun. Even asking for more gas, no one in control really swung for the fences. I'm sure ppl will get more comfortable controlling the more quake links pop up in there.
1 on 1 is always fun no matter what, but I found that the highs were super rumbly and made me laugh my ass off. Even though there are 2 sliders in the control room, I did think there was a little more delineation between the 2 motors in app control. There isn't a ton of distinction between the two either way, and the way the entire toy vibes is a VERY unique, super pleasant sensation.
2 hours and some excellent weed later, and Quake couldn't get me there. I do think that with how adjustable and smooth Quake is, it would make it very easy to navigate with a partner in tandem with P in V sex, and that used that way it would make me scream and find Jesus. That's about to be a real awkward text, but in the name of science, someone else is about to get roped into this to test my theory.
All in all, Quake isn't a finisher for me, but ladies we are all built different! I do think that there's a lot of potential here, and I'm also going to keep fiddling with the angle to see if that makes a difference. I will say that the sensations were very unique and unusual, and very unlike anything else in the line up. I aso feel like the variations are super smooth and if you aren't one who can handle super intense buzzy vibes, that this would be a good toy for you. In the meantime, I think this one is either going to be a starter before moving on to something else, or just used for partner play. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer. You can DM me if you aren't comfy asking in public, just please don't plant any dick seeds in my DMs, it's not a dick farm.
