Sorry to necro the post, but I noticed your question wasn't answered. The reason why the pink screen doesn't let you see the name or a chat box to talk to the person whose toy you are controlling is privacy and protection reasons, as links could be shared anywhere on the internet. As it stands now, links are geared for anonymous play and if someone wishes to add you on the app to allow you to chat with them, they will figure out a way to.

Thanks for the reply. I'm the biggest privacy,  and totally non techie, person around but maybe a "give permission to show name" button or a instantly deleted chat box?
