Add-On to the Rumbles

The Edge has two motors and can generate beat frequncies with them. A beat frequency is a change in amplitude with a constant frequency. How? Select the same or a multiple of the one motors frequency for the other one.

What is this magic? Physics is magic! Beat frequncies are caused by slightly different frequencies overlaping. The Edges frequencies are only slightly different if something is squeezing on one motor while the other one is free. That causes a periodic change of constructive and desctructive interference. INCREASING and decreasing the intensity of the vibrations without changing the freuquency. This is very usefull if you want to drive your  crontrollee crazy with low frequncies. This will be less and less effective the stronger one vibrator is compared to the other one because there won't be much con-/destruction anymore.
