Today, on the General, I wanted to be awkwardly humorous. I made a joke about the age of the women that was at the same time ironic in relation to my own age.

I didn't want to hurt anyone in any way. In no way did I want this to be taken seriously.

I was stupid and I misjudged how much my words could hurt. I'm writting this message to apologize. Apologize to those I hurt and talk to daily. Apologize to those who arrived and saw this message. Finally, apologize to those who always have a listening ear for me and who thought I could have a bad view of her.

I love women. I admire them enormously on daily basis. I could never hurt them.

I don't know if you'll forgive me or if you'll still want to talk to me after that. But it was important for me to apologize.

And if I had to apologize again for what I said, I would do it without hesitation. But if I had to repeat my joke, I would shut my mouth without hesitation.

I would end with this sentence from Victor Hugo, a great French poet whom I love very much: "If God had not made the woman, he would not have made the flower".
