Anyone with experience synching these two toys?

Grace synched her Nora with a guy's Max earlier today, and he was only able to control the vibrate, NOT the rotate.

We were using Mac app, and there are some features (like groups) absent from this version of the Remote app. 

Can anyone confirm if Rotate in synch is another missing feature?
