For those who do not know, a Haiku is a form of Japanese poetry, consisting of 17 sylabuls over 3 lines in the pattern of 5, 7 and 5 respectively. They should technically also contain a reference to a season.
They are very restrictive, and it be challenging to convert complete sentences in this format.
I posted these on Fetlife some time ago when they were originally written, I think it's time they received another airing. I hope that you enjoy reading them
His hand holds the key
Her need is one breath away
She begs, pleading. "Please"
As bruises flower,
Her body aches and tears dry
Now content she smiles
Give yourself to me,
Let loose your uncertainties,
Trust me completely
Bound with love and care
She trembles, not with fear but
Anticipation
That is beautiful straw, very well written ❤️
